Jahream Bula, the standout fullback for the Wests Tigers, has addressed the speculation regarding his future amid rumors of a potential exit from the club.
The 23-year-old has made a significant impact since his debut in 2023, emerging as one of the Tigers' key players with an impressive record of 23 tries in 57 appearances.
Despite his strong performance, Bula has found himself at the center of transfer rumors, particularly following the decision to cut his wife from the club's NRLW squad-a move that has reportedly upset him greatly, according to sources from Wide World of Sports.
Bula is under contract until the end of next season, earning $700,000, with a mutual option for the following season that has yet to be activated.
If the Tigers exercise this option, he would see his salary rise to $800,000. Conversely, if Bula's management opts to activate it, he would earn $750,000 for the 2027 NRL season.
Following an extraordinary performance for Fiji last weekend, where he scored a hat trick in just seven minutes and finished with four tries, Bula had the opportunity to discuss his future with The National.
While he did not give a clear answer regarding his long-term plans, it is reported that he is considering various options, including a potential move to the PNG Chiefs.
