Taylor time: Jada's return right on cue for Sharks

Though Jada Taylor's return to the NRLW came two months later than she had planned, her arrival could not have been better timed for Cronulla as they gear up for the finals.

In her performance, Taylor recorded 91 metres and six tackle busts, contributing to what coach Tony Herman called an improved attacking display from the team. The 22-year-old stepped into the fullback position after an early injury to Kiwi Ferns playmaker Tyla King, necessitating a reshuffle in the backline.

While it may be challenging for Taylor to displace Emma Verran as the starting No.1 for the rest of the season, Herman noted after the match that her return provides him with valuable depth in the team's spine.
