Jack Wighton was not exactly singing Kumbaya when asked about Latrell Mitchell's recent apology to his Souths teammates.
The suspended fullback found himself in a spot of bother after offering up his regrets following a three-game suspension for an unsightly elbow incident on the field.
This latest setback means Mitchell will once again be warming the bench during a crucial period for the Rabbitohs, with coach Jason Demetriou feeling the heat.
At a training session, Saliva Havili spilled the beans that Mitchell had taken the time to make amends with his fellow players.
"Trell has manned up and addressed the situation with us lads," shared Havili.
"As a key figure in the team, his words carry weight, especially with the younger players.
Knowing he's got the backs and vice versa is crucial for team morale.
We're all getting behind him."
