Jack Bostock, the 2024 Dally M Rookie of the Year, has expressed his desire to shift from playing on the wing to a more permanent position in the centres over the next few seasons.

Despite only being in his third season in the NRL, Bostock has already made significant strides, scoring 14 tries in 23 matches during a breakout 2024 season and maintaining strong form this year as a key player in The Dolphins' backline.

Having been signed by The Dolphins until 2027, the 21-year-old is poised to be a foundational player for the team.

During an appearance on SEN's Saturday League Kick-Off, Bostock clarified his ambition to transition into the centres, a position currently occupied by Herbie Farnworth and Jake Averillo.

His desire to move stems from a background where he primarily played in the centres throughout his junior career, and he even trained in that position during pre-season.

Bostock's comments underscore his commitment to evolving his game and potentially increasing his impact within the team's structure as he looks to solidify his roles moving forward.
