Jack Bird's Exit from Tigers Imminent?

Jack Bird's tenure at the Wests Tigers appears to be coming to a close as new exit rumors circulate following the departure of several high-profile off-field figures, including CEO Shane Richardson and Chairman Barry O'Farrell.

Bird is no stranger to exit speculation, having been allowed to engage with other clubs back in August. There were even talks of a potential player swap involving Nathan Brown, which would have seen him join the Manly Sea Eagles. However, that idea was dismissed in October.

According to All Out Rugby League, Bird has now been made available to various clubs in the Super League, which could pave the way for his exit before the upcoming 2026 NRL season.

The 30-year-old, one of seven new signings for the current campaign, struggled to make a significant impact during the 2025 season, frequently finding himself sidelined. With his playing career nearing its end, he managed to feature in 17 matches for the team but has not been able to regain the form that earned him selection for the NSW Blues in the 2016 and 2017 State of Origin series.
