Jack Attard, a standout fullback prospect and 2024 Australian Schoolboy representative, is making waves in the rugby league community and has recently caught the attention of Penrith officials.

He is part of the new generation of talent emerging from the Penrith Panthers' pathways system, which has enabled the club to remain competitive, winning four consecutive NRL premierships despite losing notable players like Jarome Luai, James Fisher-Harris, and Stephen Crichton.

Attard is now regarded as a promising successor to the current NSW Blues and Kangaroos fullback, Dylan Edwards, alongside his close friend Jaxen Edgar.

In an exclusive interview with Zero Tackle, he discussed his football journey and aspirations for the remainder of the season, as well as his goals of playing in the NRL.

The Panthers have fostered a strong pipeline of talent, including players like the McLean brothers, Casey and Jesse, playmaker Jack Cole, and forwards Luron Patea and Mavrik Geyer.

As Attard develops further in the Jersey Flegg Cup, he looks to continue building on his skills and contributions to the team.

Having extended his contract with the Panthers until the end of 2027, Attard is focused on his growth and impact on the field as he works toward realizing his NRL dreams.
