Liam Ison, the electrifying fullback for the Jets, is set to make a triumphant return to familiar territory as he faces off against his former team, the Panthers, at BlueBet Stadium tomorrow.

Although he swapped his Panther colors for the Sharks this season, the 19-year-old still resides at the base of the mountains, passing by his old stomping ground on his way to the Shire.

Having achieved success with the Panthers in the Jersey Flegg competition and making a noteworthy debut in the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup, Ison has been showcasing his talents in top form with Newtown, the Sharks' affiliated club.

As he once again dons the No.1 jersey for the Jets in a clash against the sixth-placed Panthers, Ison will be looking to bounce back from a narrow defeat to the ladder-leading Bears as the high-flying Jets aim to soar up the rankings.
