Baby steps: Origin among NRLW ambitions for returning Isa'ako

Evania Isa'ako (née Pelite) is taking gradual steps towards her return to rugby league, expressing her aspiration to compete in the Origin arena as she embarks on her comeback journey.

After a three-month hiatus following the birth of her daughter, Isa'ako is excited to lace up her boots again for Gold Coast in 2026. She missed the entire previous season due to her pregnancy and is now beginning her preparations alongside the NRLW squad.

However, the 30-year-old is experiencing a mix of emotions, feeling both joy and the bittersweet sensation of leaving her young daughter, Letti, at home while reuniting with her Titans teammates.
