In a significant development for the Broncos, veteran playmaker Adam Reynolds has been given the green light to make his triumphant return from injury, while the team will be without rising star Selwyn Cobbo for their upcoming clash against the Knights in Newcastle.

Brisbane coach Kevin Walters has confirmed that Cobbo will be sidelined for the crucial match, but the rest of the Origin contingent, including Reece Walsh, Pat Carrigan, and Payne Haas, are ready to take the field after a grueling State of Origin decider.

Carrigan, in particular, put in a herculean effort during the intense battle, while Walsh felt the physicality of the Blues.

The return of Reynolds, who has been sidelined since round 9 with a ruptured bicep, couldn't come at a better time for the struggling Broncos, who are desperate to snap their six-game losing streak.

The experienced halfback's kicking game will be crucial against the Knights' dangerous backline.

"Selwyn unfortunately won't be able to play, but we have good news with the rest of the boys ready to go," Walters commented.

"Adam is raring to go after putting in the hard yards at training.

His presence on the field adds a level of confidence and leadership that will benefit the team immensely."

As the Broncos aim to salvage their season, Reynolds' return has been hailed as a "big in" for the team, with fans hoping that his experience and skill will help turn the tide in their favor on Saturday.
