In a tough blow for the Wests Tigers, centre Brent Naden found himself facing a hurdle after a nasty knee injury during the match against the Eels.

Despite initial concerns, Naden remains upbeat and determined to bounce back onto the field within 6-8 weeks, quashing any doubts about his future in the NRL.

The injury occurred when Naden was contorted in an awkward tackle, causing his knee to pop out.

With two trainers helping him off the field, he declined a stretcher, showing his resilience in the face of adversity.

"I'll have scans tomorrow, but the early indication is that it's a dislocation.

Hopefully no ligament damage, so I'm aiming for a speedy 6-8 week recovery," Naden explained optimistically.

The pain post-injury was sharper than during the game, as the adrenaline wore off.

Naden knew it was serious when his teammate, Jeral Skelton, took one look at his knee and his reaction said it all.

"Seeing Skelton's expression, I knew it wasn't good.

But I'm staying positive and focusing on getting back out there," Naden reflected.

With determination in his eyes and a positive attitude, Naden is ready to tackle his recovery head-on, ready to come back stronger than ever and leave his mark on the field once more.
