The Sea Eagles are gearing up for a tough challenge as they welcome back the explosive Tolu Koula from injury.
Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold has given the green light for Koula to make his comeback on Friday night, although it remains to be seen whether he will be thrown straight into the action or eased back gradually off the bench.
Koula has been sidelined since round 18 after sustaining a knee injury while playing at fullback in Townsville, which required surgery to repair his MCL.
The lightning-fast player has predominantly featured at left centre, but with Tommy Talau and newcomer Lehi Hopoate impressing out wide, Koula may have to be patient for his chance to shine.
"We're bringing Tolu back into the 17 and he will definitely see some game time," Seibold announced.
"We have a wealth of talent in the backline and young Lehi has been a standout for us.
However, we have made the call to reintroduce Tolu into the mix.
Whether he starts or comes off the bench, we will assess that as we go."
It's a crucial moment for the Sea Eagles as they prepare to navigate through this tricky test with Koula back in the fold.
The team will be looking to maintain their winning form and Koula's return could provide them with that extra spark needed to outsmart their opponents on the field.
