The Dragons will face their rivals, the Cronulla Sharks, in a significant Indigenous Round derby this Saturday at Jubilee Stadium.
Before the main event, the NRLW squad will also participate in an Indigenous Round derby of their own.
Both the NRL and NRLW teams will showcase their 2025 Indigenous Jerseys during the match at Jubilee Stadium.
This year's design, created by proud Dharug man Kane Wright, celebrates the richness of the Dharawal calendar, the wisdom of Elders, and the profound connections among people, animals, and the environment.
Attendees can look forward to an Indigenous Performance at 2:30 pm, followed by a team walk-out and a Welcome to Country ceremony.
Over the years, many exceptional Indigenous players have represented the Red V, including legends such as Ricky Walford, Nathan Blacklock, Jamie Soward, Jeff Hardy, and Anthony Mundine, as well as current stars like Tyrell Sloan, Bobbi Law, and Ella Koster.
The Burraga Foundation provides various services, including on-country tours, cultural awareness training, cultural consultation, partnerships, the development of Reconciliation Action Plans, and the creation of digital resources and materials.
