The Illawarra Steelers have unveiled their squad for the upcoming 2025 Tarsha Gale Cup season, ready to tackle the competition head-on and aim for glory on the field.

Despite missing some key players like Ella Koster, Evie McGrath, and Chelsea Savill, the Steelers are bolstered by the likes of Indie Bostock, Kasey Reh, and Bronte Wilson leading the charge.

The team has also welcomed new recruits Seriah Palepale, Trinity Tauaneai from the Canterbury Bulldogs, and Liesel Hopoate from the Manly Sea Eagles.

Hopoate, hailing from the famous Hopoate rugby league dynasty, is determined to carve out her own legacy in the sport, following in the footsteps of her older brothers Albert, Lehi, and Will.

With the support of her Sea Eagles teammate Siulolo Richter, Liesel is set to make a strong impact on the Steelers squad and help drive them towards success.
