Nicho Hynes, the superstar halfback for the Cronulla Sharks, has thrown his hat into the ring when it comes to the swirling rumours about his teammate, the New Zealand international winger Ronaldo Mulitalo.

Off-contract at the end of the 2025 NRL season, Mulitalo's future has been up in the air for a while now, leaving fans and teammates on the edge of their seats as they await his decision.

The Sharks club as a whole hangs in the balance as Mulitalo mulls over his next move.

Rumours are flying that Mulitalo could be eyeing a move to the Brisbane Broncos, potentially paving the way for Samuel Stonestreet, a towering winger who's been itching for a chance to shine in the first-grade lineup.

Stonestreet, also off-contract at the end of the season, is champing at the bit for his shot.

On the flip side, keeping Mulitalo on board would mean he gets to continue his dynamic partnership with Sione Katoa, forming one of the most lethal wing duos in the league.

With 56 tries in the last three seasons, Mulitalo's presence on the field is a game-changer for the Sharks.
