Hull KR v Wakefield Trinity

LeagueNews.co | Jess Malloy

Hull KR defeated Wakefield 34-10 at Craven Park, extending their lead at the top of the Betfred Super League table to six points.

Tom Davies starred for Hull KR with a hat-trick, contributing significantly to the win.

Despite Wakefield's previous victory over champions Wigan, they could not replicate that success against Rovers, even though they matched them in the first half.

Hull KR also scored tries from Joe Burgess, Mikey Lewis, and Peta Hiku, with Arthur Mourgue successfully converting five.

Wakefield's Tom Johnstone and Corey Hall crossed for tries in the first half, giving them a brief lead, while Max Jowitt added one conversion.

The momentum shifted when Rovers forced a goal-line drop-out, and Rhyse Martin's persistence led to Davies scoring after picking up a loose ball close to the line around the 20-minute mark, which Mourgue converted.
