The Huddersfield Giants have scored a try by signing Canberra Raiders hooker Zac Woolford on a one-year contract.
With 39 NRL appearances under his belt, Woolford is no stranger to the rugby league battlefield, having also played in the NSW Cup.
At 28 years of age, Woolford brings a wealth of experience to the Giants' squad and will provide some fierce competition for the coveted number nine position.
The hooker is excited about the challenge of playing in the Super League and facing off against new opponents.
"I'm over the moon to have everything sorted.
It's been in the works for a few weeks now, so it's a relief to have it all finalized," Woolford said in a statement released by Giants Media.
With Woolford's impressive track record and hunger for success, the Giants are sure to benefit from having him on their team as they strive for victory in the upcoming season.
