NSW Blues coach Laurie Daley has dismissed any plans to move Zac Lomax to the left wing, despite Queensland Maroons winger Xavier Coates's height advantage over Brian To'o.
Coates, who is 194cm tall, aims to exploit this disparity in their upcoming match, having previously targeted To'o with kicks during the first game of the series.
This tactic led to To'o receiving a sin-bin penalty after a mid-air tackle on Coates.
In a previous match, the Blues attempted to adjust by shifting Lomax, who stands at 190cm, to To'o's left wing while To'o was in the sin-bin.
However, once To'o returned, they reverted to their original positions.
Notably, To'o is listed at 174cm, making him 20cm shorter than Coates.
Despite the size difference, Daley remains confident in To'o's ability to handle Queensland's strategies in the upcoming Origin II at Perth's Optus Stadium.
He has faith that To'o can effectively respond to aerial challenges, as he has done throughout his career.
