Jarryd Hayne, the enigmatic former NRL star, has made his long-awaited return to the rugby league scene, gracing the Nines Premier League on the sunny Gold Coast.

After spending some time away from the game in a less than ideal setting, Hayne faced a tough battle with a tricky hamstring injury during the tournament, which limited his time on the field.

Teaming up with legends such as Ben Barba, Andrew Fifita, and Blake Austin in the United SC squad, Hayne experienced a rocky start as he hobbled off the field after his first encounter with the ball.

However, true to his resilient nature, he made a comeback to the game, showcasing his skills with a kick, a chase, and a bit of on-field banter.

Coach Blake McLean of United SC had nothing but praise for Hayne's perseverance and presence on the field, despite the physical obstacles he faced.

It was a reminder of Hayne's undeniable talent and passion for the game, as he navigates his way back into the rugby league world after a turbulent period off the field.
