Gold Coast Titans head coach Des Hasler has stated his intention to coach the team until 2026, despite ongoing rumors suggesting otherwise.
Reports indicate that his contract includes a clause that could render it void if the Titans fail to reach the finals in 2025.
Following a recent defeat against the Brisbane Broncos, the Titans, currently at the bottom of the table, face significant pressure, and Hasler's continuation as coach is in question.
However, Hasler dismissed the speculation, asserting its lack of basis.
He emphasized, "I don't take any notice of reports because I know what we've got here and I know what's been said, so the speculation is unfounded." This comment highlights his commitment to his role and confidence in the team's potential moving forward.
Despite the challenging circumstances, he remains focused on leading the Titans through the remainder of the season.
