A former NRL enforcer and hard-hitting second-rower for the Parramatta Eels, Manu Ma'u, is set to make a triumphant return to Australia and continue his rugby league journey with a new team.
After a stint overseas in the Super League with Hull FC and Catalan Dragons, Ma'u has decided to lace up his boots once again in his homeland.
This time, he has chosen to join forces with the Souths Sharks, a team competing in the A-Grade Men's division of the Rugby League Mackay and District competition.
Joining Ma'u at the Sharks are a host of talented players, including Ryan Kinlyside, Jesuah Wini, and Marmin Barba, to name a few.
With this star-studded lineup, the Sharks are gearing up for an exciting 2025 season filled with bone-rattling tackles and sensational tries.
Having made his NRL debut in 2014, Ma'u made a significant impact during his time with the Parramatta Eels, tallying up an impressive 115 appearances and 62 points before departing the club in 2019.
Now, he's ready to bring his experience and expertise back to Australian soil, where he will undoubtedly leave a lasting legacy with the Souths Sharks.
