In a thrilling display of speed and determination, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow of the Dolphins managed to chase down the "fastest man on the planet," Josh Addo-Carr, in a moment that had the NRL in awe.
The Canterbury Bulldogs kept their top four hopes alive with a convincing 30-10 victory over the Dolphins in Bundaberg.
This win brings them level with the Sharks, although the Sharks still have a game in hand.
However, the highlight of the match was undoubtedly the epic footrace between Tabuai-Fidow and Addo-Carr, which had fans on the edge of their seats.
Leading 6-0 after 22 minutes, Addo-Carr appeared to be on the verge of breaking the game open as he sprinted down the field after a loose ball, with Bronson Xerri providing the assist.
Despite a valiant effort from the Dolphins' Jamayne Isaako to stop him, Addo-Carr had a clear path to the try line.
With 80 meters to go, Addo-Carr kicked into high gear and seemed poised to extend the Bulldogs' lead to 12-0.
