Hamiso Hammer's hamstring scan scheduled after game

Injury Update: Hammer sent for scans

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

The Dolphins are dealing with a blow as fullback Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow has been sent for scans following a hamstring injury.

The Kangaroos representative was forced to leave the field in the 22nd minute during the clash against the Broncos on Friday night, chasing down Brisbane winger Corey Oates.

Unfortunately, both players were unaware that a penalty had been blown at the other end of the field, halting their sprint.

Tabuai-Fidow was immediately sidelined with ice on his hamstring and coach Wayne Bennett has forecasted that the 23-year-old will have to sit out for a few weeks.

It's a tough break for the Dolphins, but they'll need to regroup and adapt in their upcoming matches.

Injuries are part and parcel of the game, and the team will need to dig deep and rally together to overcome this setback.

The road to recovery may be long, but with determination and grit, Tabuai-Fidow will be back on the field before you know it.
