Hame Sele Plans Reunion After Injury Setbacks

Sele family reunion set to take over Vegas as forward eyes injury-free year

Dragons forward Hame Sele is excited about a family reunion in Las Vegas as he aims for an injury-free 2026 season.

Concerns arose about his future when he was diagnosed with pericarditis after experiencing heart pain during a match in late 2024.

Fortunately, Sele was cleared to return at the start of last season, but injuries limited him to just six games in 2025.

With a clean bill of health, Sele is focused on securing a spot for the Dragons' season opener against the Bulldogs at Allegiant Stadium.

The Tongan international has relatives in Los Angeles and Utah, who eagerly requested tickets for the Las Vegas game.

In the recent Pre-Season Challenge against the Knights, Sele showcased his talent, running for 151 metres in a strong 28-18 victory.
