In a thrilling conclusion to the Wheelchair Super League, the Halifax Panthers triumphed over the London Roosters with a score of 42-32.
The match, noted for its brutality and intensity, showcased Jack Brown's remarkable performance as he emerged as a consistent threat and leading try-scorer for Halifax.
This season, Halifax and London have been fierce rivals, having met previously in the Challenge Cup final, which was also claimed by the Panthers, alongside the League Leaders' Shield.
London Roosters had a strong performance in the league, suffering only one loss throughout the regular season, which notably came at the hands of the Panthers.
Kicking off the Grand Final at the Manchester Basketball Centre, the Roosters sought early revenge. The 15-year-old prodigy Casper Wass scored the first try, contributing to his total of three tries in the match.
However, tensions flared quickly during the game. London's Mason Billington fell while attempting to tackle Rob Hawkins, leading to a heated exchange. Hawkins retaliated by throwing the ball at Billington, who then stood up and charged at Hawkins, gripping his shirt while other players gathered around.
