Halfback given the green light to exit Titans

Gold Coast Titans halfback, Tanah Boyd, has been given the green light to depart the club earlier than expected, with his contract set to run until 2025.

Once hailed as a rising star in the Titans' halves, Boyd has found himself consistently overlooked in favor of other players.

The former Queensland Junior State of Origin representative faced an unfortunate setback this season when he dislocated his wrist, forcing him to miss a significant amount of game time.

With the team in need of halves, Boyd had a prime opportunity to secure a regular first-grade spot through strong performances.

However, with only eight appearances this season and just one game played since Round 9, Boyd's future at the club became uncertain.

The decision to grant him permission to leave signifies a shift in the team's strategic lineup, as they seek to bolster their roster with fresh talent.
