'Very large soft spot': Hale readying for emotional homecoming
The 2023 IRL Golden Boot winner, Hale, is contemplating a future move to the Warriors but emphasizes that she still has unfinished business on the Gold Coast.
Having spent a significant part of her childhood at Go Media Stadium, where she supported the Warriors NRL team alongside her father Laurie, who has been with the club for a long time, Hale also played for the Warriors' inaugural NRLW team in 2018.
Marked in her calendar since the NRLW schedule was released last year, Hale's Round 4 trip home holds great significance for her.
However, she had not seriously thought about rejoining the Warriors for their comeback season.
Additionally, Hale noted the dual role of a mentor and friend that she embodies, reflecting her efforts to adapt her leadership style by integrating lessons learned from her experiences with the Kiwi Ferns.
