The newly launched R360 competition has made significant waves in the NRL, attracting the attention of various star players.
Among those in demand is Brisbane Broncos prop Payne Haas, a prominent figure in Australian sports.
Reportedly, R360 has targeted Haas as a potential marquee signing, offering him a staggering $2.2 million to join their ranks.
However, despite this enticing offer, he is expected to turn it down, as per the Daily Telegraph.
Instead, Haas intends to stay with the NRL, aiming for a substantial new contract with the Broncos.
Experts estimate that Haas could secure around $1 million through corporate deals, which, combined with his current contract of $1.2 million, would nearly double his total earnings.
His manager, Ahmad Merhi, has stated that there has been no communication with R360 and that Haas will not be transferring to any other clubs.
