Jojo Fifita scored twice for Queensland in the 2026 State of Origin series, averaging 146 run metres and making five tackle breaks across the three games.
The Gold Coast Titans centre has signed a two-year extension, keeping him at the club until 2029. Former coach Billy Slater selected him for all three matches.
Fifita has scored 35 tries in 78 NRL appearances since debuting in 2022. This season, he crossed eight times and averaged 116 metres per game, with 11 line breaks and four try assists.
Titans coach Josh Hannay praised his progress. "It's a huge coup to have Jojo remain a Titan and he has gone to another level in his career this year," Hannay said in a Titans statement.
Hannay also said Fifita had become a consistent high-performing NRL player after 78 games, while still having room to develop.
