Scans are being assessed for Sarina Masaga's injured Achilles tendon, with the Gold Coast Titans waiting for results before deciding on her rehabilitation.
The injury has forced the centre out of the Rugby League World Cup after the opening round.
Masaga, an international for Samoa, went down during her team's first match against Australia.
There was no contact when she was injured.
The club has yet to determine a rehabilitation plan, pending the scan results.
