The Super League continues its trend of attracting NRL talent, recently securing a promising young forward.

Chris Patolo, formerly associated with both the Canterbury Bulldogs and Manly Sea Eagles, has officially joined the Huddersfield Giants for the 2026 season.

Having been identified as a potential asset for the Super League last month, Patolo is set to leave the NRL after facing challenges in establishing himself as a first-grade prop.

The Sydney native will begin pre-season training with his new teammates next month, marking his first venture into English rugby.

Expressing his gratitude for this new opportunity, Patolo is enthusiastic about the challenges that lie ahead in the Super League.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to join Huddersfield and really excited to make the move over to the Super League," Patolo said.

"The challenge excites me, and I'm ready to connect with the community and play in front of the Huddersfield fans."
