Reuben Garrick continues to make waves in his impressive career at Manly, as he recently broke a long-standing record to enter the top five list for most points scored for the Sea Eagles.

According to seaeagles.com.au, Garrick's six points against the Warriors last Friday night in Auckland propelled him into fifth place on the list with 962 points.

Since his NRL debut for Manly in 2019, Garrick has managed to score 67 tries and 347 goals in 112 games.

In achieving this feat, Garrick surpassed the legendary Ron Willey, who had held the record for most points scored for Manly with 958 points.

Willey achieved this remarkable feat in 123 games between 1956 and 1962.

It's worth noting that in 1982, rugby league tries were changed from three to four points, making Garrick's achievement even more impressive.

With Garrick's contract with the Sea Eagles extending until the end of the 2027 season, he has a real chance of surpassing Graham Eadie's club record of 1917 points, currently the highest in Manly's history.

Eadie's record is well within reach for the 26-year-old, who has proven to be a record-breaking player for Manly in recent seasons.

In fact, Garrick was not only the NRL's Top Point Scorer in 2021 but also the Dally M Winger of the Year.

This outstanding achievement allowed him to set a new club record for "Most Points in a Season" with a staggering 334 points.

Throughout the 27 games he played, Garrick managed to score 23 tries and kick 121 goals, solidifying his status as a key player for Manly.

As Garrick continues to make his mark on the field, it is clear that he is cementing his place among the greats of the Sea Eagles.

With his goal-scoring prowess and longevity in the game, there is no doubt that Reuben Garrick will continue to climb the ladder of Manly's all-time leading point scorers and etch his name in the club's history books.
