Manly Sea Eagles' Reuben Garrick is currently a sought-after player in the transfer market, making a potential club change likely.
Coach Anthony Seibold acknowledges that retaining Garrick will be challenging, especially with several NRL clubs showing interest in the versatile player.
Garrick's contract runs until the end of 2026, and teams such as the Sydney Roosters, St George Illawarra Dragons, and the new Perth Bears are reportedly keen on acquiring him before the 2027 season.
In a conversation with SEN 1170 Sportsday, Seibold highlighted the fierce competition for Garrick's signature, stating, "It's a really competitive market at the moment."
He added, "We'd love to keep him, he's a great athlete and a very good player, but there's considerable interest in players like Reuben."
Manly has reportedly made a two-year, $1.1 million offer, with intentions to enhance this proposal as they anticipate competing bids.
