Garrick Set to Join Roosters in 2027

According to reports, the Manly Sea Eagles are set to lose their star outside back, Reuben Garrick, to the Sydney Roosters at the conclusion of the 2026 season.

The Roosters were only recently linked to Garrick, but developments have progressed rapidly. As Garrick's contract expires at the end of 2026, he has been able to engage with other teams since November 1. He previously declined a contract extension from Manly, perceiving it as below market value.

The Sea Eagles are keen to keep their versatile goal-kicking and try-scoring back, who is capable of playing fullback, wing, or center. However, News Corp reports that the Sydney Roosters have successfully secured his commitment.

It has been reported that Garrick has already informed Manly of his intention to leave. An official announcement isn't expected for at least ten days, as the Sea Eagles now enter a cooling-off period, allowing them a chance to persuade Garrick to reconsider.

However, indications are that Garrick is likely to join the Roosters on a two-year contract for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.
