In 2023, Bronson Garlick had a remarkable year of growth and improvement with the Melbourne Storm.

After joining the team on a development contract in 2022, Garlick worked hard during the pre-season and made the switch to the hooker position.

His dedication paid off when he earned his NRL debut in Round 1 against the Eels, which was a special moment for him as he played in front of his family and friends.

Throughout the season, Garlick continued to excel, showcasing his skills and determination.

He scored his first try in the Magic Round game against the Rabbitohs, highlighting his offensive abilities.

However, it was his defensive resilience that truly stood out, as he made an impressive 405 tackles with a tackle efficiency of 93.8%.

Prior to his time with the Melbourne Storm, Garlick had played for the Easts Tigers in 2022, making 16 appearances.

But in 2023, he made the switch to the Sunshine Coast Falcons.

Although he only played four games for the Falcons, Garlick made an impact by playing as both a hooker and a lock.

He scored one try and made 121 tackles, further proving his versatility on the field.

Garlick's outstanding performances and dedication to his craft did not go unnoticed.

At the end of the season, he was honored with the prestigious Melbourne Storm Most Improved Award, a testament to his growth and development throughout the year.

It was a well-deserved recognition for his hard work and commitment to the team.
