Game 1 of Origin Series Broadcast Options

If you find yourself without access to a television for Game 1 of the 2026 State of Origin series, there's no need to worry as radio broadcasts of this exciting series opener will be available across Australia.

The NRL has several radio partners who typically cover the regular season, but when it's time for the Origin, all hands are on deck, providing listeners a plethora of options.

To catch the game, you can listen in on several platforms.

The ABC and Triple M will deliver their usual coverage across the country's airwaves.

In contrast, SEN will broadcast the match across their main stations nationwide, while their branches in Sydney and Brisbane will feature specific broadcasts tailored for Blues and Maroons fans, rather than simply airing the national feed.

Listeners in Sydney and Brisbane can also access the Nine Network through 2GB and 4BC, both of which will relay the national broadcast.

Kick-off is scheduled for 8:05 PM (AEST) on Wednesday evening, with most radio coverage commencing at 7 PM (AEST), according to official information from radio broadcasters.
