"He's the real deal": Rising star commits to NRL future

The Dolphins have locked in Trai Fuller for the long haul, extending his contract until the end of the 2026 NRL season.

Despite playing second fiddle to Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow in his early days at the club, Fuller has now solidified his spot in the Dolphins' starting lineup under the watchful eye of Wayne Bennett.

The 27-year-old has shone in his role as fullback, showcasing his skills in eight games this season along with a standout performance off the bench.

His impressive form follows a stellar run in the QLD Cup in previous years.

With his new contract, Fuller will join the Top 30 squad from the start of next season, securing his place in the team for the foreseeable future.

Club CEO Terry Reader praised Fuller, labeling him as a genuine NRL talent.

"He belongs in the NRL," Reader commented, emphasizing Fuller's undeniable potential and contribution to the team.
