Junior Reps Wrap: SG Ball & Harold Matts off to flying start

The Parramatta Eels' Junior Reps campaign for 2024 began on a high note, as both the SG Ball and Harold Matthews Cup sides recorded impressive victories against the Warriors.

The Harold Matthews outfit particularly stood out, showcasing their dominance with a commanding 28-point win in their inaugural competitive match.

Not to be outdone, the SG Ball side fought back from behind to secure a well-deserved victory at Eric Tweedale Stadium.

Unfortunately, the female teams didn't fare as well, tasting defeat against formidable Bulldogs opponents in both the Tarsha Gale Cup and Lisa Fiaola Cup.

However, all four teams will have a chance at redemption in Round 2 when they journey to Cronulla to take on the Sharks.

Excitement filled the air as Michael Nauer executed a superb try, capitalizing on a perfectly timed flat pass from halfback Lincoln Fletcher and embarking on a powerful run to the try line.
