Fuller's fresh threads: back on the field

Fuller returns in an unfamiliar jersey

Trai Fuller is set to return to the field after a significant rehabilitation from a knee injury sustained during the Hostplus Cup finals last year while playing for the Redcliffe Dolphins.

He underwent full surgical reconstruction and has now been cleared to play.

However, with Redcliffe on a bye this weekend, Fuller will represent the Central Capras, another club affiliated with the NRL.

Fuller has ties to Central Queensland, hailing from Eidsvold in the North Burnett region and having played in the Rockhampton area before moving to Brisbane.

His return is crucial for the NRL squad, and playing with the Capras is his only opportunity to take the field this weekend.

According to QRL rules, players can transfer between feeder clubs, indicating that Fuller is likely to don a Redcliffe Dolphins jersey again later in the year.
