Former New Zealand Warriors player, Kieran Foran, has been named at hooker for the New Zealand Kiwis in their upcoming Pacific Championships game against the Kangaroos.
This comes after Foran started as the dummy half in the Kiwis' previous match against Toa Samoa, wearing the #14 jersey but listed as #9 this week.
Foran, a 33-year-old NRL veteran with 282 games under his belt, will be playing in his 30th Test match since his debut in 2009.
Due to a lack of available hookers, Kiwi head coach Michael Maguire called on Foran to step up in the position.
In the previous game, Foran showed his courage and skill with a solid performance, playing the entire 58 minutes and making 52 meters from eight runs and 31 tackles.
