Marcus D 'Acre, the Vegas Combine winner, has signed a two-year contract with the Newcastle Knights and will begin his NRL journey in Jersey Flegg.

The 20-year-old has transitioned from rugby union, having represented Canada and Hong Kong.

Originally from Hong Kong, D 'Acre holds an Australian passport through his father, Nigel, a Melbourne native who played rugby league for the USA against Russia.

This connection has facilitated D 'Acre's move to Australia, where he has chosen Newcastle for its robust development programs under the Knights.

Standing at 194cm and boasting strong athletic skills, D 'Acre is expected to start as an outside back in Jersey Flegg, with aspirations to progress through the Knights' pathways system.

Alongside his rugby commitments, he is also studying for an economics degree at Queen's University in Canada while immersing himself in rugby league to prepare for his new adventure with the Newcastle Knights.
