Imogen, a former representative touch football player in the Balmain district, initially had no interest in playing rugby league, but everything changed when she was approached to trial for the Wests Tigers Under 17s Lisa Fiaola Cup team.

Despite her initial hesitation, the 19-year-old forward decided to give it a shot, and not only did she secure a spot on the team, but she was also appointed as the captain, a role she has embraced ever since.

Imogen's rugby league journey reached a significant milestone when she became the first Balmain junior to progress through all stages of the club's female pathways program, culminating in her debut for the club's Harvey Norman Women's side in 2022.

Last weekend, her journey took another important stride as she made her inaugural appearance in the NRLW during a game in Brisbane.

Imogen emphasizes the vital role that the club's pathways system plays in nurturing young female footballers, highlighting the opportunities it provides for their development and advancement in the sport.
