A match made in rugby league heaven at The Dolphins
In a surprising twist, seasoned Dolphins player Felise Kaufusi is gearing up for a bold move in 2025, shifting from the second row to the front row in a bid to propel the team into their inaugural finals appearance under the guidance of new coach Kristian Woolf.
This strategic maneuver will see Kaufusi teaming up with former State of Origin adversary Daniel Saifiti, heralding a new era for the Dolphins' forward line post the departure of Jesse Bromwich.
Despite past clashes with Saifiti in intense Origin battles, Kaufusi is optimistic about embracing his new position.
"I'll be giving it my all to charge off that front line," Kaufusi revealed in an interview with AAP.
"I actually began my NRL career in the front row.
It's a different ballgame from the back row, but I'll be giving it my best shot to see how I fare."
