Melbourne Storm players Nelson Asofa-Solomona and Jahrome Hughes have been selected to once again represent their homeland in the New Zealand squad for the upcoming Pacific Rugby League Championships.
According to a report on melbournestorm.com.au, Hughes will be making his seventh appearance in the black and white jersey, following his impressive performance in the 2022 Rugby League World Cup where he scored three tries.
The 28-year-old first debuted for the New Zealand side in 2019 and has since been a consistent presence in the team, never missing a game for his country.
On the other hand, Asofa-Solomona, who is the most internationally experienced player among the Melbourne Storm players, has represented the Kiwis on 12 occasions.
The 27-year-old made his first appearance in the 2017 World Cup and has since become a key member of the New Zealand forward pack.
