Dragons captain Ben Hunt has been selected to represent the Kangaroos in the upcoming Pacific Championships.

The 33-year-old, who has already earned twelve caps for the national team, will be looking to make an impact when the tournament kicks off on October 14th.

The Kangaroos will face Samoa in a World Cup Final rematch at QLD Country Bank Stadium.

After a week off, they will then take on the Kiwis at AAMI Park.

If they secure victories in both matches, they will advance to the Pacific Championships Final in Hamilton on November 4th.

Hunt, who made his international debut in 2014, scored a try off the bench in that game against England.

He then went on to participate in the 2017 World Cup, featuring in five out of the six matches, including the final at Old Trafford which the Kangaroos won.

In the current NRL season, Hunt has been in fine form for the Dragons, scoring eight tries and providing 19 assists in 22 appearances.

His selection for the national team is a testament to his consistent performances throughout the year.
