Despite not making it to the finals of the Jersey Flegg Cup season, Aaron Hertsch, the rookie head coach of the Dragons, was satisfied with the determination and improvement shown by his players.

The team managed to secure five victories out of six matches during a mid-year period.

However, their chances were hampered by a series of injuries and call-ups to the senior squad.

With just five rounds remaining, the under-21s side were only 24 for-and-against points away from the top five.

Unfortunately, they ended the season on a losing streak.

Nonetheless, Hertsch, in his first year as head coach, believes there were many positives to take away from the season, despite falling short of reaching the playoffs.
