Former NRL journeyman Tautau Moga has signed with the Western Suburbs Devils for the 2024 season, marking a new chapter in his rugby league career after his stint with the St George Illawarra Dragons.
According to zerotackle.com, Moga, who played first grade in the NRL last season, will now be competing in the Mojo Holmes Illawarra Cup.
His arrival at the Devils comes after former NRL hooker James Segeyaro backed out of his decision to play with the club, as reported on their social media pages.
Moga's decision to join the Devils followed significant interest from Super League clubs, and it is interesting to note that he was once an Australian Schoolboy representative and a Queensland Under 20 player.
If not for a rule change preventing players under 18 from playing in the NRL, he would have become the youngest Sydney Roosters debutant in over seven decades.
