Born and raised in Australia, Royce Hunt, the Sharks' formidable enforcer, had the privilege of delving deeper into his proud Māori culture when he became an NRL All Star in 2022.

According to the report on sharks.com.au titled "'In my bones': All Stars deepens Hunt's Māori connection," Hunt will once again proudly represent the Māori All Stars in their clash against their Indigenous counterparts at Townsville's Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Friday night.

While this exhibition fixture is always a remarkable display of skill and passion, it holds far greater significance for the 28-year-old prop, as it connects him to his heritage and roots.

Joining him in this year's men's All Stars clash from the Sharks camp are backrower Briton Nikora, while Nicho Hynes and Braydon Trindall will form a dynamic duo in the halves for the Indigenous side.
