Castleford Tigers have secured the services of Josh Hodson, a talented centre, who will join the team from Batley Bulldogs in 2024.
The 26-year-old has showcased his scoring prowess, with an impressive tally of 28 tries in 74 games throughout his career, including 19 tries in just 29 matches this year alone.
Hodson's arrival at Castleford will see him reunited with assistant boss Craig Lingard, under whom he played in the 2022 Championship Grand Final and the 2023's 1895 Cup final.
When asked about his move, Hodson expressed his desire to push himself and make the leap from the Championship to Super League, stating, "I want to challenge myself and come up from the Championship.
[Also, I want to] see how I handle myself in Super League."
