In a surprising turn of events, young Panthers recruit Brad Schneider has opened up about his unexpected move to the Super League at the age of 22.

Despite his initial doubts, Schneider admits that the decision has been one of the best things he's ever done, as it has put him in a prime position to crack Penrith's top 17 for the upcoming season.

This move to the Super League is becoming increasingly popular among young halves, who are looking to develop their skills and return home with a fresh perspective.

Schneider hopes to follow in the footsteps of NRL playmakers like Blake Green and Jackson Hastings, who have found success after their stints overseas.

With just 12 NRL games under his belt, Schneider's journey has already been full of surprises, including a shock win over Brisbane before being sent back to reserve grade.

However, fate intervened when Hull reached out to his manager in July, offering him a chance in the UK.

While Schneider had no time to mull over the opportunity, he recognized it as a no-brainer and decided to seize the moment.

The young halfback is now encouraging other aspiring halves to challenge themselves abroad, as it could be the game-changing experience they need to reach their full potential.
