Frizell's Tonga Call-Up: Rep Trifecta Fully Realized

Newcastle Knights player Tyson Frizell has achieved a significant milestone in his rugby league career by being called up to represent Tonga.

Frizell has previously played for Wales in 2011 and the Kangaroos in the 2017 World Cup, making this call-up a completion of his representative trifecta.

Tonga coach Kristian Woolf had been keeping an eye on Frizell for a while and has finally named him in the squad for their upcoming tour of England.

Frizell, who recently re-signed with the Knights, expressed his pride in being able to represent his mother Sophia's heritage, adding to his previous representation of his Welsh father Andrew.

This call-up is a testament to Frizell's talent and versatility as a player, as he has successfully performed at the international level for multiple teams.

Frizell's family is also extremely proud of his achievements and they will undoubtedly be cheering him on during the tour.
